Autocamp Skalice lies on the left bank of Slapy Reservoir, about 35 km south of Prague. It offers cabins, apartments, bedsits, studios, tent and caravan pitches, a floating pontoon swimming area, restaurant and classic summer lakeside atmosphere.
Who it suits
Autocamp Skalice is a good choice if you want Slapy Reservoir without a long trip from Prague. It lies on the left bank of the reservoir, about 35 km south of the capital.
It suits families, couples, anglers, tent campers, caravan travellers and guests looking for simple fixed accommodation in a cabin, bedsit, studio or apartment.
Accommodation
Apartments are the most comfortable option, with a kitchenette, private bathroom, shower and terrace. Studios have a kitchenette, bathroom and balcony. Bedsits are on the ground floor of the main building and have private sanitary facilities.
Four-bed wooden cabins are about 20 metres from the reservoir but do not have private bathrooms. Shared showers, toilets, kitchen and dining room are in the main building.
Camping
The campsite has space for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with electric hookup available. For tents and caravans, prices are built from the accommodation type, people and extra services.

Listed prices include apartment CZK 2,500/night, cabin CZK 700/night, bedsit CZK 790/night, studio CZK 1,100/night, tent up to two people CZK 100/night, larger tent CZK 130/night and caravan or motorhome CZK 250/night. Adult fee is CZK 160/night, child under 15 CZK 120/night and electricity CZK 140/night.
Water and facilities
The swimming area has a large floating pontoon for access to Slapy Reservoir. Motor boats can be rented and there is a bar. The campsite also has a garden restaurant, common kitchen and basic shop.

The location works for trips to Karlštejn, OrlĂk, ZvĂkov, KonÄ›prusy Caves, KonopištÄ›, DobřÚ, Svatá Hora and Prague, or for boat trips on Slapy Reservoir.
Getting there
By car, head to Slapy 382, 252 08. Public transport should be planned via Slapy and current timetables.
Watch out
Cabins are simple and use shared sanitary facilities. In July and August, book ahead and expect a busier summer atmosphere.
