Bikepark Kopřivná: a lift-served Jeseníky bike park from family flow to Dirtzilla

Bikepark Kopřivná in Malá Morávka offers a lift, 9 trails, a skills centre, rental, service and lines for children, beginners and experienced riders. It can be friendly, but Gravity Line, DH and Dirtzilla are not places for ego without protection.

Why ride here

Bikepark Kopřivná is a classic lift-served bike park in the Jeseníky Mountains. The lift takes you up and you choose your way down depending on skill, courage and how attached you are to your teeth. Its biggest strength is the range of difficulty: Funtrail and the Skills Centre for warming up, Gravity Line, DH tracks and Dirtzilla for riders who already know what they are doing.

The resort lists 9 prepared trails of all levels with a total length of 17.5 km. It is not the biggest bike park in Europe, but it is a strong choice for a weekend ride, technical training or a first taste of lift-served bike park riding.

Who it suits

Beginners, children and families should start in the Skills Centre and on Funtrail. The operator describes Funtrail as a smoother track with berms, rollers and lighter elements, suitable for warm-up and first bike park laps.

More advanced riders can move to Spicy Freeride with tabletops, drops and sharper turns. Gravity Line, Hypa Hypa DH, DH2, Babyzilla and Dirtzilla are much more serious. For the harder trails, a full-suspension bike, full-face helmet, back protector and knee pads make real sense.

How it works

The bike park runs on seasonal hours. Outside holidays, the current schedule is mainly Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday. Daily summer operation is planned from 26 June to 29 August. Before travelling, check the website or social media because Jeseníky weather can change plans quickly.

Bike passes are available via Phone Ticket, e-shop or ticket office. Prices vary by duration, day, age and purchase channel. Children under 6 ride free with an adult, but their ticket is issued at the ticket office.

Rental, service and bike school

Kopřivná has bike rental, service and a bike school. Rental includes trail and more downhill-oriented bikes, junior bikes and e-bikes. According to the price list, booking online is cheaper than paying at the rental counter.

The bike school teaches beginners and experienced riders and works with children from 5 years old. Lessons start in the Skills Centre on simple obstacles, small berms and natural bumps.

Getting there

By car, head to Malá Morávka 122. In peak weekends, arrive early for parking and rental. By public transport, check connections via Bruntál and Malá Morávka; the final leg may involve walking, cycling or a local bus.

Watch out

Kopřivná is fun because it lets you progress step by step. That does not mean every trail is safe for everyone. Do not overestimate yourself on Gravity Line, DH or Dirtzilla. After rain, expect slippery roots, stones and tired hands. A helmet is the minimum; for harder trails, bring proper protection.
