Crowds

Lipno is a very popular family resort. The busiest times are summer holidays, weekends and good weather.

Booking

Bikepass uses online dynamic pricing or current on-site operation. Bike and gear rental is best reserved in advance, especially in season and on weekends.

Best time

June to September, ideally mornings or weekdays. July and August have the longest operation but also the biggest crowds.

Transport

Driving to the central parking near Intersport Element / Chata Lanovka is easiest. The area is easy to move around on foot or by bike.

Watch out

Check bikepark, Střecha lift operation and trail status before going. Do not skimp on protection: helmet, gloves and pads make sense even on the blue trail.

Time needed

For a first taste, 1 to 2 hours may be enough. With bike rental, repeated rides and breaks, allow 3 to 5 hours.

Accessibility

Walking companions can use the resort area, restaurants, beach, marina or treetop walkway. The trails themselves are for bikes, not strollers or pedestrians.

Bikepark Lipno is a family-oriented bikepark in Lipno nad Vltavou, with the Střecha chairlift for bike transport, a 1.8 km blue trail, a harder 1.2 km red trail, about 180 m of vertical drop, berms, rollers, jumps, rock sections, wooden features and downhill bike rental.

Bikepark Lipno is a good choice if you want to try a lift-served bikepark without jumping straight into a hardcore enduro venue. It sits in Lipno nad Vltavou, one of Czechia’s strongest family resorts, and combines well with the beach, cycle paths, restaurants and other Lipno attractions.

The park has two main trails: a 1.8 km blue trail and a harder 1.2 km red trail, using around 180 m of vertical drop. The trails include berms, rollers, jumps, rock sections and wooden features. The Střecha chairlift takes riders and bikes back up.

Why visit

Lipno is especially good for a first bikepark experience, families with older children and recreational riders. The trails are not extremely long, but they are playful, easy to understand and well connected to resort services.

Trails

The blue trail is the best first choice. It is designed for a broad range of riders and can be ridden by beginners who already control a bike safely off road. The red trail is more demanding and better for more confident riders.

Rental

The Bikepark Lipno rental shop is located in the Intersport Element building near the central car park. Full-suspension downhill bikes, children’s downhill bikes and protective gear are available. A refundable CZK 3,000 deposit applies for downhill bike rental.

Watch out for

Check current lift operation and trail status before visiting. Even the easier trail is still a downhill terrain track, not a lakeside cycle path, so protective gear makes sense.

Bike around Lipno

Lipno is a strong cycling destination, but bikepark trails are not ordinary cycle paths. Use a suitable mountain or downhill bike for the trails.

Public transport

Without a car, plan connections to Lipno nad Vltavou by season. With your own bike and protectors, driving is easier; with on-site rental, Lipno can be done lighter.
