Bikepark Špičák near Železná Ruda is one of the best-known Czech bikeparks. It offers a chairlift, the easier Good Year Family Line, natural Black Friday, technical Struggle, Air-Stone, Jump Park, Skill Center and an uphill trail to the summit.
Who it suits
Bikepark Špičák is a Šumava classic near Železná Ruda. It suits riders who want a lift-served mountain bikepark with real terrain, flow, technical trails, jumps and training areas.
Beginners should start on Good Year Family Line or in the Skill Center. More experienced riders can move to Black Friday, Air-Stone and Struggle.
Trails
Struggle is a 1.1 km technical line with rocks, drops and jumps. Black Friday is a 2.3 km natural intermediate trail with berms, jumps and transfers. Good Year Family Line is a 3.5 km easy-to-intermediate trail for beginners and advanced riders who want flow and fun.
Jump Park has two lines of tabletops near the trail finish. Air-Stone combines north shore elements, wooden bridges and rocks. The Skill Center is designed for technique practice, while Airbag helps with jump training. Uphill Špičák 1202 is a 5.022 km climbing trail to the summit.
Prices
A 3-hour bikepark ticket costs CZK 740 adult, CZK 630 youth and CZK 340 child. A day ticket costs CZK 960 / 820 / 430. Five rides cost CZK 720 / 620 / 340. Tickets use a chip card with a refundable CZK 50 deposit.
Opening hours
In 2026, the lift runs on weekends and holidays in May, early June and from mid-September to the end of October. From 15 June to 15 September it runs daily 9:00–17:00.
Getting there
Head to Špičák na Šumavě 182, 340 04 Železná Ruda. By train, use the Špičák stop and check bike carriage.
Watch out
Špičák is a real mountain bikepark. Wear a helmet, use protectors on technical trails and be careful after rain.
