Bikepark Tanvaldský Špičák: Jizera Mountains flow trails with a lift and a new jump trail

Tanvaldský Špičák is a lift-served bike park in the Jizera Mountains with roughly 12 km of one-way trails. It suits skilled children, beginners and more experienced riders looking for flow, berms, stone sections and a new rollable jump trail.

Why ride here

Bikepark Tanvaldský Špičák is a friendly Jizera Mountains option for riders who want lift access, forest trails and some technique without jumping straight into extreme downhill terrain.

The official website lists about 12 km of one-way trails for summer 2026. The base is a blue and red flow trail, a natural forest-floor trail and a new jump trail whose features are designed to be rollable if needed.

Who it suits

Skilled children, beginners and intermediate riders can all enjoy this bike park. Beginners should start slowly on the flow trails and use the first lap mainly to read the surface, turns and braking points.

More confident riders will appreciate the red trail, stone sections and technical passages. The new jump trail adds more play, but it is still worth riding with your brain switched on.

How it works

The 2026 summer season starts on 23 May. In June and September, operation is Friday to Sunday; from 29 June through July and August, it runs daily. The lift operates from 9:30 to 17:00.

You can use the lift to the top, or climb by road through Albrechtice. For repeated bike park laps, the lift makes by far the most sense.

Bike pass, rental and service

The adult day bike pass is CZK 790, the 4-hour pass is CZK 630 and the two-day pass is CZK 1,350. Children have lower prices and children under 5 ride the lift free.

The rental shop is at the lower lift station. It offers full-suspension and hardtail mountain bikes, children’s bikes, helmets and guards. Full-suspension bike rental requires a CZK 4,000 deposit and two IDs.

Getting there

By car, head to Tanvaldský Špičák I or Údolí Kamenice 597, Tanvald. By public transport, check current connections to Tanvald, Albrechtice or Tanvaldský Špičák and verify bicycle carriage in advance.

Watch out

A helmet is the minimum. For faster riding, use gloves, goggles, knee, elbow and back protection. Ride the first lap slowly, never ride against the marked direction and be extra careful after rain.
