June, early September or weekdays in season. The main season, 1 July–22 August, has the most programme but also the highest prices and crowds.

Transport

Driving is easiest. The campsite is directly on the cycle/inline path, so once there, many things can be done on foot, by bike or on skates.

Access & Transport

Car

For tents, caravans, motorhomes and family stays, driving is most practical. Navigate to Camping Lipno Modřín; the official car-park GPS is 48.638853N, 14.208472E.

Bike / inline skates

The campsite lies directly by the lakeside cycle/inline path. It is ideal for trips around Lipno, to Lipno nad Vltavou centre and towards Frymburk.

Public transport

Without a car, plan connections to Lipno nad Vltavou by season. With a tent and larger gear, driving is much easier, but for lighter stays train, bus and bike can combine well.
