A popular recreation area. The busiest times are high season, weekends, cultural and sports events and warm weather.

Booking

Normal day swimming does not require booking. Cabins, caravans, school groups and longer stays should be arranged with Wilsonka in advance.

Best time

June to early September, ideally weekdays or mornings. July, August and event days at Wilsonka are the busiest.

Transport

Driving to Autocamp Wilsonka near Hartvíkovice is easiest. For reservoir trips, use the Horácko boat and the Kemp / Wilsonka pier.

On foot: Wilson's Rock

A yellow hiking trail leads from Hartvíkovice to the viewpoint. Wear sturdier shoes, especially after rain.

Bike

The Dalešice Reservoir area is beautiful but hilly. Expect steeper descents to the water and climbs back to villages.

Public transport

Without a car, plan by exact destination: Hartvíkovice, Kramolín, Koněšín, Třesov or Dalešice. With beach gear and children, driving is much easier.
