Hlučín Lake Štěrkovna: swimming, sports and camping near Ostrava

Hlučín Lake, often called Štěrkovna, is one of the strongest natural-swimming options in northern Moravia. It is not a forgotten pond outside town, but a large recreation area near Hlučín, combining swimming, sport, children's facilities, summer events, camping and a proper lakeside setup.

Its advantage is scale. If you only want to swim and lie by the water, it works. If you come with children, the paddling pool, playground elements and refreshments make the day easier. If you want a weekend, the campsite adds another layer.
