Pruhonice Park is one of the strongest trips just outside Prague. Inside, the pace changes quickly: ponds, meadows, woodland sections, views towards the chateau and paths that can become either a short walk or a longer half-day route.
The park is part of a UNESCO-listed site and feels like a designed landscape, not just a pretty backdrop. A major reason to come is the dendrological collection, which makes the park change strongly through the year.
Spring and early summer bring flowering sections, summer offers shade and water, and autumn is all about colour. Beautiful weekends can be busy, so mornings or weekdays are better for a calmer visit.
